Auckland was our stopover on the way to the US, we spent about 12 hours here on the way over and another 9 hours on the way back.

Los Angeles was our entry into the US, but the extent of our visit was limited to swapping planes onto a small United Airlines regional flight up to San Jose.

This is the head office of Google, there are only photos of the gardens, as thats all you're allowed to take photos of when on site, however we did have a tour of a number of the office buildings and cafeterias. Although the legal stuff we signed says we can't say what we saw inside those buildings, I think it's pretty safe to say it's one of the best workplaces on Earth.

San Jose City Hall is one of the tallest buildings in San Jose, and the public are encouraged to visit the upper floors, where you'll get one of the best views possible of the surrounding area.

Santa Cruz is a little holiday town on the coast of California, that reminds me of the Perth Royal Show, only without the animals. While there's a whole town to explore, most visitors (and that included us) head to the pier, which is lined with restaurants and souvenir shops and to the boardwalk, which is essentially an amusement park, with a few more souvenir shops thrown in.

Some photos of my Cadillac, a 1970 Fleetwood Formal Sedan. It's powered by a 472 cubic inch big block and seats 9 passengers. It's also a great cruiser.
